After a deserved tumble from the peak, Devi Sri Prasad seems to have recovered and has given a fairly decent music for Bommarillu. His songs and BGM are good assets for the film. Though there are few repetetions here and there, most of his orchestration sounds refreshing.

He had a good come back with Pournami but unfortunately the film was a disaster and his music was invain. Now with the grand success of Bommarillu, I hope he will give some quality music instead of quantity music.

I prefer him not singing and giving the opportunity to the talented Telugu singers.. He is unfortunately not fit for the playback singing..

Except Manisarma, all other present day Telugu Music Directors like Keeravani, Chakri, R.P.Patnaik, Ramana Gogula, Vandemartaram Srinivas are singing songs. DSriP sings much less number of songs than the others with a maximum of one song per movie, if needed. He has been chosen to sing songs by other music directors also and I believe he has done enough justice to all the songs he has given voice.

There is absolutely nothing bad with his 'Kanee ippudu...' song in Bommarillu. May be his style of singing has become monotonous. He has given very good numbers with non-telugu singers like 'Shaan' without any 'Uchcharana doshalu'. He wouldn't have had this blame, if he himself had sung the most popular songs in Varsham and SDMBBS without opting for 'Adnan Sani'.
