There are two main types of high voltage transformer bushings: oil-filled and dry-type. Oil-filled bushings are typically used in transformers that operate at high voltage levels and require insulation. They are made of porcelain or composite materials, and the insulation material is impregnated with oil to improve its dielectric strength. Dry-type bushings, on the other hand, are used in transformers that operate at lower voltage levels and do not require oil insulation. They are made of resin-bonded paper or epoxy materials, which provide excellent electrical insulation properties.
