I myself have been in the trance of these songs (that I hosted three days ago) for the last couple of days.

I have uploaded some of the starred songs from movies like jEganTalu, jaDaganTalu, rakta sambandhalu, mahA lakshmi, sannAyi appanna, AtmeeyuDu, rahasya gUdhachAri, paTnavAsam, antam kAdidi Arambham, prEma mUrtulu, guru Sishyulu, rAma danDu etc.

Being an extensive listener of film songs, most of the songs on our music site are reminiscent of forgotten songs. But two of the many songs requested in the guest book have surprised me a lot:

'idi ennaDu veeDani kougili....' from Prema Jeevulu

'rAdhanu nEnaitE....' from Inspector Bharya

I am wondering how I missed them, but these two songs are not in my memory and I don't remeber listening to them at all.

The first song is not a great one but definitely pleasing. Composed by Vijaya Krishnamurthy, the tune and interludes of the song have traces of songs from folk films like Rajakota rahasyam. The unadulterated voice of SPB is pleasant to hear. This song is hosted in Krishna/Solo section.

The other song, in the first hearing was not very catchy. KBK Mohan Raj's voice sounded odd. But as I listened to it couple of times, K.V.Mahadevan's melodious tune started haunting me. The way P.Suseela rendered the song while singing 'rAdha anTe evvaradi...mAdhavuni pAdAla puvvu adi...' is really melodious. Even KBKM's voice revealed mysterious melody. I am not sure how the voice sounded for hero Krishna on the screen. This song is in Krishna/Duets section.

I am very much thankful to the guests who have requested these songs that made us collect them and enjoy their melody.

srini..i am not sure which year 'chattam' (its the same name in tamil also) was released..but my guess is its late 80s, hero is kamalhassan and music is by ilayaraja. if u listen the song definetely u will like it. let me google, if i can get atleast tamil version.

I have one suggestion. can we have one thread only for you both to make announcements regarding new songs added. So that the thread remains clean and people can easily know about new additions.

Right now this information seems to be scattered over multiple threads/posts.

Instead of adding a seperate thread in DB, i feel its better to put the newly added songs in the home page. Once the next set of songs has been added, you can update the same on home page.
