После этого многие СМИ полностью или частично отказались от работы с Думой. Бойкот, в частности, объявили RTVI, радиостанция "Эхо Москвы" , телеканал "Дождь", РБК, "Коммерсант". Позднее к бойкоту присоединилась социальная сеть "Одноклассники".

Активисты запланировали в центре Москвы 29 марта пикет против бездействия Госдумы в скандале со Слуцким.
